There may also be classes you want and we don't presently offer. MICROWAVE COOKING - A class that is probably one , of the most popular classes is a class in microwave cooking. It takes xperience and guidance, i This will be the aim of the new microwave cooking class. iu can learn how the easiest of all cooking methods can ork best for you. We are also happy to say that we have the finest teacher vaii Utah County and probably Utah. Sherri Nofrey, a atned cooking instructor for Litton in Southern California rom 1974-1976- . A professional caterer in Southern Jalifornia and Utah County, The class is worth hundreds of dollars and you will i receive it for pennies. The International Association of Chiefs of Police also joins the National Safety Council's researchers with these additional winter driving tips. Away from traffic get the "feel" of the road by accelerating carefully to see if your wheels spin; or brake gently to see when they skid. Reduce v'our speed accordingly. Increase your following distances. Remember, it takes three to nine times as far to stop on snow and ice as on dry pavement. Plan your maneuvers far ahead. Avoid sudden changes in direction or speed. Pump your brakes to slow or stop - don't jam them on. An intermittent (completely on-of-pumping action keeps wheels rolling and helps maintain steering control. Use good tires with good treads. Better yet use tires which provide half again as much pulling ower in snow as regular highway tires. Keep yrnir windshield and windows clear at all imes. Replace streaking wiper blades. Be sure mr windshield washer solution contains adequate tifreeze. .ilemember those tire chains in your trunk and use em for severe snow and ice conditions. Reinforced ains provide four to seven times as much traction snow e- - ice as regular tires. ' :.ef. Ferre concluded with this comment owing these tips will prove you still have good ment about the winter driving problems and 'ons still ahead." dded that there is no better way to keep your ft a police accident report than to use that Hlgement - no matter what winter throws at - |
