Ford Anderson Friday morning when Lyle Stewart arrived at Kiwanis Park after making his usual trip there to see what he could do to spruce up the grounds, he found to his surprise and dismay, that a vandal had cut down one of the beautiful pine trees - cut right to the j ground, leaving a gaping hole in the park ; landscape. It takes some kind of an odd-ball person to pull a stunt like that -- one who is lazy, selfish and dishonest. I say that a person who would stoop so low as to cut a tree in a lovely park is also a coward and has absolutely no respect for beautiful things or for anybody else besides himself. I do believe that he might even pull up young corn. It was a lot of hard work for the Kiwanis, |
