Show March of Dimes Requests Help Prevention of birth delects and improving lhe outcome of pregnancy are lhe primary objectives ob-jectives of lhe March of Dimes. Every year, funds contributed by the American public are allocated lo Scientific Research, Medical Services, Professional Education, Public Health and Education, and Community Services. Birth defects are the nation's most serious child health problem, according to the March of Dimes. More than a quarter-million infants are born with physical or mental damage every year in the United Stales. On January 13-14, mothers will be marching for this very worthy cause.
