Show Dog Owners. I still have trouble with the leg that I fell on when two dogs (pets) attacked me on a public street. I have written about a dozen cases of severe attacks of dogs on people in Park City. Mr. Shoda, I will publicly support you in courts or whatever, if you will keep our city and my property free of dogs that are allowed to run. I know if the people pet owners would review the up-graded Leash Ordinances that were published in the Park Record three or four years back, they would know that a dog is not allowed to run free evn on his owners' property. Dogs have completely ruined . my image of a beautiful area. Keep the good work up Mr. Shoda, because dogs in Summit County and especially Park City have ruined a lot of lives. There is a lot of feed back now of the dog owners support of their dogs. I wonder if they could possibly think that they are getting back what they have dished out since they became dog owners? Pet owners have publicly stated that they moved to this beautiful mountain area to let their dogs run free, and the people were disregarded. Dogs have attacked me on my property. They have used my hard labor and money on my plants and shrubs for their relief stations. They have chased and attacked me on public streets. I have had to walk by them on down town Main Street of Park City and smelled and stepped step-ped on their mess. Sometimes, Some-times, I have been too frightened to get out of my car. A dog or pet can be friendly to his owner and family, but when it comes to other people, no one knows how the dog is going to react. There are Leash Ordinances, Ordin-ances, but they have been severely ignored both by previous dog catchers and the City Council of Park City and the Commissioners of Summit County.
