Show Deadline approaching for winter visitors guide Area businesses that have not yet joined the Park City Chamber of CommerceConvention and Visitors Bureau for this year must do so by Aug. 30 in order to be included in the 198586 Winter Visitors Guide. "This deadline is earlier than past years but our feeling is that we need to start looking farther ahead and being prepared with our visitors guides and other publications," said Mark Menlove, director of communications communi-cations for the Chamber Bureau. "I think you'll see our deadlines move up earlier and earlier with each new guide until we have them coming out well ahead of the season, Many people are already planning their winter vacations and we need to have up-to-date materials to send them," he said. Chamber Bureau members and businesses that were in last year's guide but have not joined for this year will be receiving visitors guide information in the mail. All others Park City Area Update Chamber of CommercWronvenlion ind Visitors Bureau should contact Mark Menlove at 649-6100 for more information. Park City area merchants will be holding a citywide sidewalk sale on Aug. 1 and 2, the two days prior to the Park City Art Festival. All retail areas of the city will be represented with a total of 48 merchants participating. Watch the Park Record for more information on where to find bargains. In other news, the Chamber Bureau will host another of these information sessions in August. New members this week are Emprise Group, Inc. and Old Town Locksmiths. |
