Show nutrition class rescheduled The discussion on nutrition for preschoolers has been rescheduled for Tuesday,. May 26, 7:30 p.m. at the Kamas Elementary School. A sign will be posted at the northwest entrance giving the room number. The speaker will be David Mauler, nutritionist from Maternal and Child Dept.. Dcpt of Health. S.L.C. All interested persons arc invited to attend and learn more about children's nutrition. There is no charge for the meeting and babysitting will be provided. If you are interested in a particular class, please let us know. We must have ten or more participants to set up a class. The fee for most classes is $8 to $10 for six weeks, one evening or afternoon a week. The classes will be for one to two hours depending on which class you take. The clinic is open to the public desiring further information on subjects as: reproductive anatomy and physiology, rubella immunity, women's health care (including PAP test, breast exam information and cancer), spacing children for health reasons, nutrition, blood pressure, and contraceptive methods. The staff at the clinic will meet with individuals as well as groups. The clinic also has available resource files, with up-to-date information. Emergency calls, (dogs attaching persons, or livestock, and injured animals) are handled 24 hours a day, seven days a - week through the animal control answering service at 974-3309. For more information, contact the Chamber office, 649-5633. annual California picnic The annual Park City Picnic will be held at the Alhambra City Park on June 13, 1981. This will be the 61st year for this picnic. We would appreciate you reminding everyone about this picnic so that we can get a good group of Park City Friends together this year. The Picnic will not be able to be continued unless we have more support for it. Starting time will be 11 a.m. and will run to 3 p.m. The park is located between Raymond and Palm Avenues with Cedar on the South - Alhambra Road on the North. This might help-you help-you to find the park better. Please help support us and keep this great tradition going by notifying anyone who might be able to come.
