Show Missing Bike Recovered Donna Lewis told police officers May 11 that her son Kenton's bicycle had been stol en from the Middle School sometime during the winter. The bike was later found. Mysterious Entry An occupant of Park Station Condominium number 138 told officers May 11 that an unauthorized person unlocked and opened the door of the unit while he rested on a couch. According to the police report the intruder "Shut the door and fled" when it appeared the unit was occupied. Thaynes Home Burglarized Louise.. Koll of number 4 Bonanza Court returned home recently to find her house had been burglarized. After an investigation, officers determined the burglars forced their way into the home using a crowbar. Loose change and a camera valued at $125 were reported taken. Noise Complaint Issued Gwen Latterner complained May 11 that customers outside the Cowboy Bar were disturbing the peace. Owners of the bar admit a problem that night because a popular concert filled the premises to capacity, and left all at once after the show. The owners are trying to solve the problem for future concerts. Police admit that noise is a problem on Main Street at night but confess the area is comercially zoned and in recent years has been developed as a night life attraction. "You can deal with the drunks but its hard to go around telling people to be quiet," said Police Chief Mike Crowley. "As long as we have the big clubs and bars on Main street there is going to be noise at night." 1 1 |
