JMancarrows Donate To Glenwood Effort Park City residents Thelma and Frank Nancarrow recently recent-ly made a generous donation to the Park City Historical Society Glenwood Cemetery fund. Thelma and Frank have relatives buried at the historic site near the Snow-flower Snow-flower Condominiums. In her letter accompanying the donation, Thelma recalls a time where her family paid the sexton to clean the cemetery when the lodges had control of it. After that the city began to be responsible for the maintenance, mainte-nance, she continued. "Then after the city decided it was no longer their place to keep it up, the weeds and trees kept growing and growing. Individual families tried to keep up their own lots, but eventually moved or joined : their loved ones in the beautiful beyond." Over the Memorial Day holiday the Nancarrow family fam-ily visited the cemetery and were thrilled at the amount of cleanup work that had been done. "What great things can be accomplished by young healthy people with strong arms, legs and backs," continued Mrs. Nancarrow. Nan-carrow. The donation will be used to further efforts to clean up the site, - set tombstones, document plats and biographies bio-graphies of those, buried in the cemetery and erect a fence to protect the site from vandals. .
