Show Chamber Issues Reminder Dear Editor: Dear Ms. Loble: Just for the record, you'll be interested to know that on September 20, 1979, the city council of Park City agreed to a set of procedures to govern the closure of Main Street during specified events and activities. Even though the most recent film productions did not require the actual closing of Main Street, it is obvious hat Park City needs to levelop similar guidelines ;or activities of this type, that tend to "inconvenience and disrupt business". There is no question that the film industry often times places exceptional, unusual, and even impossible demands de-mands upon a community like ours. It's also difficult to know what to expect from one film group to the next. I hope that Thursday's city council meeting will elicit constructive input from merchants, mer-chants, film industry professionals, profes-sionals, the Chamber, Bureau, Bur-eau, and other involved entities, which will result in some concrete guidelines ; that will enable Park City to deal more effectively with film production in the future. Once we've defined what's considered "reasonable" by everyone, there will be no reason for Park City to be camera shy. Bonnie Bedford P. C. Chamber of Commerce Procedures for Closure of Main Street The following requirements are to be met and presented to the Park City Chamber of Commerce, no less than three days prior to the closing of Main Street. 1.
