Show LETTERS Park City Asks for Contributions program by sharing 50 of its cost. In this way perhaps a more equal distribution of tax revenues among the three areas of the County will occur. Your inclusion of these items in your upcoming budget will be greatly appreciated, and would help establish the positive relationship rela-tionship between City and County- Yours truly, Leon Uriarte Mavor The following letter was sent Monday to the Summit County Board of Commissioners: Dear Sirs: Since the time it was announced announc-ed that Park City would assume operation of the Memorial Building, Build-ing, we have had substantial public input concerning the County's obligation to the War Veterans and Residents of the western part of Summit County. The overwhelming response is that the County should have responsibility for the building and in that way return some portion of the taxes generated by the Park City area. We agree with the contention that Park City could manage the building more efficiently than the County, and propose that the City manager the building and share 50 of the costs with the County. As you are well aware, the County has had to fund 100 in past years. In addition, Summit County's contribution in the past to the joint City-County-School recreation recrea-tion program has been the use of the Memorial Building.
