Show PLANS FOR A NEW BUSINESS BLOCK BAiticling on Twenty-Fifth Street, East of Bamberger Depot, is to Have a Frontage of 74 Feet and a Depth of 132 Feet Much New Construction in That Part of Ogden. Architects are drawing plans for a business block to be constructed on Twenty-fifth street, between Lincoln and Grant avenues, on property formerly for-merly known as the ''Catholic Church property." The site Is immediately east of the Bee IIive rooming house and Is near the Helena, built by David Manic Tho building will have .1 frontage of 71 feet and will be 132 feet deep. This building erected, It will be the third business block constructed hi that vicinity within the past few months, or since the establishment of the Bamberger depot on Lincoln avenue ave-nue and Twenty-fifth street. The buildings recently constructed in that locality are the Helena block, built by David Maule, and the Wat-kins Wat-kins block, constructed by Frank Watklus. Tho Maule block is ncaring completion, a part of It being occupied occu-pied by a cigar dealer at the present time. The WatUins block contains the Wat kins grocery store. The Helena is among the most substantial sub-stantial and handsome buildings of recent construction. The lower floor will be utilized as stores and the np-M?r np-M?r floors as rooming apartments. It is three stories high and contains a commodious basement. The entiru building will be ready for occupancy within the next week. |
