Show "TUNML DAY" ON. LONG ISLAND; New York, Sept. R. Itesular passenger pas-senger service through the new Pennsylvania Penn-sylvania tunnels between New York City and Ixmg Inland began today. The occasion la being celebrated as "Tunnel day" till over Long Island. The lirst reiular train through the now tubes left the big Pennsylvania terminal at Seventh avenue and Thirty-second street, exactly on sehedjl.' time 3:11 o'clock this morning. Tbere were no specitl ceremonies connected connect-ed with the departure of the train and it carried only about its usual number of passengers.
