Show I DEATHS AND FUNERALS LESTER SMUIN. The funeral services over the remains re-mains of Lester, the eighteen-months-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry W. Smnln, or -ir.n Washington avenue, wcro conducted at the grave in the Ogden city cemetery ut 2 o'clock yesterday yes-terday afternoon. Blsnop James Taylor, Tay-lor, of the eighth ward, officiated at the services. The little child was a victim of scarlet fever, death resulting result-ing Monday night. Several musical selections were rendered at the grave. Orson Grillin sang, "Scatter See-Ja of Kindness" and Mrs Emily Maadock rendered the polo "Your Sweet Little Rosobud." The duet, "1 Need Thee Every Hour," was rendered by Mrs. Maddock and Mr. Grllllln. Words of consolation for the bereaved be-reaved relatives ami friends were spoken by Bishop Taylor and E. A. Larkln. A large number of friends assembled to extend their sympathy to the sorrowing parents and tho gravo was covered with flowers. AGNES STEVENS Agnes Olivia Stevens, the thirteen-year-old daughter or Mrs. William 15. Stevens-Moves, died at 2 o'clock jcsb?rday afternoon at the family residence, res-idence, 2SG4 Lincoln avenue.. Her death was due to paralysis of the i-Pine and her death followed a three months' Illness. She Is 'survived by the mother and stepfather, Robert Moyes, together with two slsteis and one brother. The funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock, at the Second Ward meetinghouse. The remains re-mains will lie in state, Thursday evening even-ing and Friday mornin?, at the residence resi-dence of Robert H. Moyes, 2SG4 Lincoln Lin-coln avenue. The interment will bo In the Ogden City cemetery. ALICE E. WHITE. Alice E. White, aged 18. daughter of Charles L and Elizaheth Starkey White, died this morning at 9:30 at the parents' residence at Kanesvllle. The cause of death was leakage of the heart from which the young lady bad suffered for several months. Tho funeral arrangements have not yet been completed and the time and place of services will be announced later. . j |
