Show ILLEGAL FISH HANDLERS: CURIOUS CASE AT PROVO. Provo, Xov, 22. Up to the present ! tinn- there has bei-n no complaint or worry in the ease in which it is alleged thnt L. W. Carpenter and Le-andtT Le-andtT King, two Provo men, unlawfully unlaw-fully caught .came fish out of the Utah Lake by means of set hooks, but one of the men, Leander King., has been arrested, tried and convicted, and is now serving a ten days' sentence in the county jail, for unlawfully ills-posing ills-posing of trout to Adanr Anderson. When King was tried before Precinct Justice A. A. Noon, he told the court ' that Ihe fish which ho sold to Anderson Ander-son had been given to lit m by the ; Madden boys; that he (King) took ! care of the fishing boats beonging to ; the Madsens, and they paid him in fish Besides the ten days' jail sentence, King was fined $25 |
