Hoggan, county bee Inspector, has just finished fin-ished his Inspection of the bees of the county, and reports having found the county comparatively free from foul brood, n number of colonies in Moroni ' being the onlv ones destroyed. He reports approximately sixty five tons of honey produced In Sanpete county this year that will be shipped out This is the output of about L'5.o?i0 colonies. col-onies. He places a valine on them of close to $4 per colony. The price received re-ceived for 1oney shipped has been t cents ami enriches our county $7,000. The bulk of this honey has been raised by twenty-four men. The heaviest heav-iest individual shipper Is Walter Cox of Fairview. who has shipped a carload; car-load; Mount Pleasant parties have shipped a carload, and one will go out from the country surrounding Center-field. |
