Wilson, who Is charged with having forged a check in this city last Friday for $55. The forged paper was deposited In. one of the local hanks and a certlncate of deposit taken tak-en in exchange. The certificate, w.n cashed at tho First National hank of Evanston, Wyo. Wilson Is a small man of. swarthy complexion and about 30 years of age. He Is believed to have been in Ogden but a short time when he committed com-mitted the alleged criuno for which ho Is now wanted The forger's method hi a new one lu Ogden. The man 1 walked Into a local bank and deposited deposit-ed the bogus check, stating that ho did not need the money, but merely wished to take vnit a certificate of, deposit. The sangfroid air of the man and the fact thut he did not ask for any cash threw the bank clerk of( liis guard and the exchange was made.
