James C. O'Brien, owner of tho house at 7022 Nineteenth avenue, South San Francisco, where the dyna-mlle dyna-mlle was found, was responsible for the discovery. It appears that on September 21 a man giving the name of William Can. who answers the descriptions of tho third man who accompanied "Bryce"' end Perry" to the Giant Powder Works, rented the Nineteenth avenuo house of a real estate lirm. That night Mrs. John Fox. a neighbor, neigh-bor, saw two men. drive up to t hi house in a delivery wagon The wag on contained a load covered by t large pieces of canvass. The wagon was unloaded, the men drove off and no one has been seen around tho house since that time. O'Brien today decided to go out to the house and see who his new ten- ants were. Ho found it empty and In the parlor the boxes of dynamite. One box was open and as soon as O'Brien saw that It contained dynamite dyna-mite he notified the police. Captain Ryan, dynamite expert of the local detective department, found that the dynamite was of tho type which was placed near tho residence of F J. Zeehandlaar.ecrctary of the Merchants' and Manufacturers' association asso-ciation in L03 Angeles, the day after the Times explosion. It was 80 per cent gelatin dynamite, bearing the giant gi-ant label. The box that had been opened open-ed held dynamite that had been manufactured manu-factured by the Hercules Powder company, com-pany, which 16 situated in Contra Costa Cos-ta county near the Giant Works.
