Show VERDECT FAVOR -LIGHMSilSY In the case of th-; Utah Light & Railway company against the Glen-wood Glen-wood Park company, Saturday afternoon, after-noon, Jvdgo Howell rendered a verdict ver-dict in favor of the plaintiff The suit was brought to recover $-00 and interest on an alleged account for Die electric lighting of the park In j the year 1007 I The defendant claimed that R. A. Grant was the lessee of the park that year and that the company had nothing to do with the indebtedness Incurred through him. The other fide, however, maintained that their contracts were with the Glenwood Park company rather than with Grant nnd that they could hold no other partv for the same. The court looked upon the transaction in the same, light and awarded judgment to tho plaintiff accordingly. The trial of the caso took up the time of the court a couplo of days. |
