Show CONVENTION IS , TO BE A" SUCCESS Board of Control of Good Road3 Association Receives Most Encouraging Encour-aging Reports ProgTam of Entertainment Arranged Distin-' guished Gussts to be Present Rooms Are Needed. . - Al a meeting of th? board of control con-trol of the Intcrniounmin Good Roads' association, held last evening at the vVebcr club, Jud-o Howell, tho chairman, chair-man, reported that each mall was , biinBlng nuriieiuus letters, announcing announc-ing the appointment of delegates, and i that all the Indications pointed to the meeting being tho largest ever held in Ogden. It was decided accordingly to appoint ap-point a committee to arrance for hotel accommodations, and the following were appointed: A. I'. Higelow, chairman; T). A. Smyth, Dan Knslgn. J-hn McDermott and Elliott l!rown. This committee will arrange to secure se-cure the names of all those who will have private rooms to rent, so that there will be no doubt about taking care of the crowd. On the morning of the opening day of the convention there will be addresses ad-dresses of welcome by Governor Spry and Mayor Glasmann and the appointment appoint-ment of committees. In the afternoon there will ho addresses by Congress-man Congress-man Howell and others, and In the evening a grand parade of autonio I biles. Mavor Glasmnnn was appointed a committee of one to arrange with the railroad company for the transportation trans-portation of delegates. . On Sunday there will be an excursion excur-sion to Salt I.ake and return, Joseph S. Peery having been appointed chairman chair-man ef a committee nrrunge for this feature of the program. On Monday mornlns: there will be a demonstration of l"oad building by tbe countv commissioners of Weber county. Every delegate will aid In b"IIdlng a mile of road.
