Show SHERMAN IS IN JOPLIN, MISSOURI Joblin, Mo.. Aug 30. Vice President Presi-dent Sberman began a busy day in the lead and rlnc mine center when he was greeted at S o'clock this morning morn-ing by several hundred Joplln citizens citi-zens as he stepped from the train which brought him from Springfield, Missouri. Among those who welcomed welcom-ed the visitor was former Congressman Congress-man James K. Watson of Indiana. Mr. Watson expected to join Mr. Sherman in St. Lould last Saturday night, but missed tue vice president's train. Shortly after 9 o'clock, a large party In automobiles escorted Mr. Sherman to Webb elt' Cartervllle, Carthage and other toa jn the Joplin mining district Rrlef addresses were delivered deliv-ered at each place visited by the vice president and his party.
