Show INJURED Ih A FREIGHT W8KK Six men were Injured yesterday afternoon af-ternoon when a Vnion I'aclfle freight train was wrecked at Hillside, Wyo., about sixty miles east of Oteen River. The wreck was caused by Iho breaking break-ing of the air hose-. The caboose of the train in which tho Injured men wore riding was derailed and almost dually demolished. The train was eastbound and was traveling at a fast rate of speed when the breaking of the air hose caused the caboose to leave tho track and topple down a pmall embankment. In tho caboose were George McCullonsh. George Jones and George Grant of Carney, Neb., Timothy Hurst of Pro-vo. Pro-vo. Utah. C. Cm Pin of Ogden and W. S. Kinney of Springfield. Mo. The last three men were employed as banana ban-ana caretakers. Thoy were tho most severely Injured and were conveyed from tho scene of the wreck to a hospital hos-pital at Rock Sprlnss, Wyo. W. S. Kinney Is tho only one of the men whoso injuries might he termed of a serious natirre. Kinney had his left leg badly wrenched and suffered a number of severe bruises on the back. Unices there arc Internal Injuries In-juries which have not yet become evident, ho will recover. Tho injuries to the other men consist con-sist of bruises nnd are not of a serl-ous serl-ous character. Crngun, the Ou'den man, was bruised about the hips and hands, but Is In no danger. |
