Show SPANISH WAR VETERANS MEET Denver. Colo., Aug. 30. After having hav-ing devoted yesterday, the first day of their national encampment, to the welcome of their comrade-in-arms. Colonel Roosevelt, the United Spanish War Veterans will settle down to business today. Of chief importance in the day's programme Is the selection of next year's meeting place. Among the cities in the field are Los Angeles. Oklahoma Ok-lahoma City, New York. Saratoga v Springs, N. Y.. Chicago, Louisville, St. Louis and Dallas. Texas. Two candidates are In the field for the office of commander-ln-chlef, Joe. R. H. Jacoby of Seattle, present Inspector In-spector general, and Maurice Simmons Sim-mons of New York.
