Stenbom was at the resort with a number of friends lie was an expert ex-pert swimmer nnd bis friends felt no apprehension when he said he would dive Into the water from a railing of the pier. He dived and struck tbc bottom. He was strangling when he came to the suifaee and his friends helped him from the water and called call-ed a pyhslcian. He was taken to St. Mark's hospital. Though he was making mak-ing little progress ho had suffered but Utile pain and the end was not expected. Stenbom had been employed as a clerk for the D. & R. G 'railroad. 1 coming here some time ago from Colorado Ho had worked for the road at Buona Vista, Colo., for nearly near-ly eight years before coming here. A widow and his mother are living. The body was shipped to Buena Vista Vis-ta yesterday for burial. |
