Show BLACK HAND STILL AT WORK Judge H. H. Henderson has received re-ceived two more anonymous letters regarding the so-called Howoll matter. mat-ter. Mr. Henderson does not care, however, to publish these letters. They arc of little consequence, he says, and ono of them is quite unintelligible, unin-telligible, and is addressed to "11-H. "11-H. Henderson, or the Standard." Neither of the letters carry with them the threats agaiust Mr. Hon-de-ruou's life, as did the other three, but one of them Intimates that both the Republican and Democratic parties part-ies will be wrecked in this city by the Americun party. If something Is not done to bring the guilty parties to justice. The detective force of the police departments have been busily engaged en-gaged on tho case since the first letters were received by Mr. Henderson, Hen-derson, but have not yet arrived at definite conclusions as to who might have written them. Innumerable hand-writings have been examined and nearly all the typewriters of the city have been Inspected. One of the letters was addressed on a typewriters, type-writers, but a machlno of that particular par-ticular kind of typo has not yet been located. Pontofflce Inspector C. M.
