Show WRESTLING' BEGINS AT : ' ARMORY Tonight will be the first of the wrestling tournament that Is scheduled schedul-ed for the Armory In this city, and. the program has -been definitely decided decid-ed upon. An interesting feature Is bouts that will bo given between the very lightweight class of wrestlers, or, rather, students of the wrestling art. Tho Idea that will be carried out In the tournament Is that of education as well as amusement. Young lads, whotio parents do not object to their sons wrestling fur physical development, develop-ment, will bo given an opportunity to meet opponents of like weight and both will be taught how to wrestle. Tho program for tonight is as follows: fol-lows: III vers, Watson and Daker, six minute min-ute contest, weight 125 pounds. Browning vs. Smith, six minute contest. con-test. 115 pounds. ! Baker vs. Dllley, six mluute content, 115 pounds. Arthur Chester vs. M, "J. Cleary. 20-mlnuto 20-mlnuto contest, heavyweight. All the bouts will be "catch-as-catch can" contests, best two out of three falls. The contests will begin at 8 o'clock in the gymnasium of the Armory building. |
