Show DUMMY AND NOT ALBERT HOUSE JUMPED FROM BRIDGE New York, May 21. After an all-day all-day investigation, the police declared last nlsht that young Albert House, of Brooklyn, did not Jump from the new Qucensborough bridge, as he claimed to have done, and for wlilch lie was arrested and held by the court in $500 bail to keep the peace for six months. Police Captain Coleman, whoso detectives de-tectives spent many hours last night on the case, said that he had evidence evi-dence that House was in a motor boat under the bridge while persons threw a dummy from tho roadway. Passing boats saw a figure drawn from the water by the motor launch which Houso had previously retained and when they came alongside, they saw House on deck dripping wet. The pclico say the dummy that, had made the 135-foot dive to the river was concealed con-cealed In the launch's cabinet. |
