Is to be paved Immediately, If tho plans of a mao--Ity of the owners or the property abutting abut-ting on that part of Twetny-fourtti are successful In their efforts. Horace Peery, Joseph, Carlson and other heavy holders of property have circulated a petition to which the signature of the owners of the required per cent .f property has been obtained and the petition will be presented to the council coun-cil noxt Monday evening. After advertising the Intention to create the paving district, actual work will commence, calling for an expenditure expen-diture of approximately S30.UUU, pait cf which must be borne by the city. There la also a move on foot to pave Wall avenue from the present paved district to Twenty-third, and the movement 13 said to be approved by the Scowcrofta who are the heaviest property holders In that district. These Improvements will Rive employment em-ployment to a large force of laborer and others during the present Benson. |
