Show LEAD PRODUCERS IN SESSION. Salt Lake, March 23 Prominent lead producers from Utah, Idaho, Colorado Colo-rado and Nevada met at the Commercial Commer-cial club here today and went on record rec-ord against the proposed reduction of five-eighths cent In the tariff on lead bullion. The decision of the tariff bill framers to leave tho duty on lead ores undisturbed at 1 1-2 cents a pound was approved Harry L. Day of Idaho was elected permanent chairman of the meeting. A committee was appointed to draw up a set of resolutions embodying em-bodying statistics on the cost of lead production and expressing the sentiments senti-ments of tho producers on the tariff question.
