TWO DAGGERS FOUND IN CITY JAIL CELLS Jailer Makes a Startling Discovery While Going His Rounds. Salt Lake, March 22 Jailer Wilkinson Wilk-inson made a startling discovery in a couple of cells on the llrst floor of the city jail this morning and is now wondering whether or not a Jail break and an attempt to murder has been under contemplation among some or the prisoners. While going through the various cells this morning, after the chain gang of 40 prisoners had started lor their work, ho found two daggers, keen edged and murderous looking, concealed con-cealed in cells on the first floor. How they came there, who put them there and for what purpose they were Intended, In-tended, of course he does not know. In any event they are now in a placo where they will do no damage. An effort Is being made to learn where they came from and what prisoners sneaked them into the Jail. In former years the discovery of deadly weapons In Jail, especially just before election time, was quite common, but comiin; now it is regarded as something quite out of the ordinary.
