Board Adopts Program to Continue Through Summer Months Summer supervision of "out-of-door activities," by the county board of education will continue during the coming vacation period. Supt.. B. A. Chief among these Is the provision for "miike-up" classes to be held at the schools during the summer months to assist backward or retarded students so thc-y will not have to repeat a grade. Following is the new program-"The program-"The project method of teuchlng, as far as Is consistent, will be used during the nine months of school indoors, in-doors, thereby correlating; aohlOTOnent and project plans with the regulation subjects so that Indoor school Is the instruction part and outdoor the practice prac-tice part of the curriculum. thr i pars Program "The three-part program of the past year will not be used except to eternalise more thoroughly the work In health, vocations, civics and patriotic service including thrift.
