Show Says Sheep Drank Bad Water; 230 Head Died With tho impanelling of a jury this morning in the Judge A. W, Agee's division of the district court, the case of Robert Byram against Walker D. Ilines as director general of railroads' of the United States railroad' admlni-j stration and the Union Pacific lines, opened. Mr. Byram, in his complaint, alleges al-leges that on. September G, 1910, he Omaha over the Union Pacific lines. At North Platte, -eb., he complains, I the animals were unloaded and placed) in yards where they were allowed to; drink unwholesome and poisoned , water which resulted in the death of j 230 head. J-le values these animals at $1702. I Tn a second cause for complaint he alieges that on the same date 1 3 5 sheep owned by Fred J. Cobabe were killed by drinking 'he poisoned water." j These animals wem valued at 79G.50. Mr. Byram asks the court to award him judgement for both amounts to-1 gether with Interest and costs. ' i |
