C. are having tho time of thoir lives at Camp Kearny, according to communication received today from Elmore Smith, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. H . Smith of this city. He says that bean's have failed to appear on tle camp menu, as yet, and that hardtack is unknown. The Hiffh school boy3 from Ogden are associating associat-ing with a number of fellows from Idaho, Wyoming and Now Mexico, and aro charmed with army life. This man, Smith says, has put 27 years in the service, and Is a wonderfully presorvod man, not looking more than 30 or 35 years old.
