Show mm out FOR HEADS OF SUGARCOMPANY Heber J. Grant and Six Other Officials Charged With Profiteering Pro-fiteering by U.S. Attorney. SALT LAKE, June 21. Warrants based upon complaints issued at Poca-tello, Poca-tello, Idaho, recently, charging Heber J. Grant, president, and six other offl-j cials of tho Utah-Idaho Sugar company com-pany with profiteering in sugar, wore received here todaj by United States District Attorney I. B. Evans. In accordance with the request of the United States district attorney of Idaho, the defendants are to be notified noti-fied of the suit against them, and they are expected to appear voluntarily either before the United States court here or before United States Commissioner Commis-sioner Tanner at Pocatello. Tho Idaho charge declared the company com-pany sold at $23 per hundred pound sack sugar which cost but ?9.50 to produce. Those named in the suit besides Mr. Grant, who is also president of tho Mormon church, are: C. W Nlblev, Thomas R Cutler, Morrill NJbley, H. G. Whitney, W. T. Pyper and 8. T, Love, all residents of Salt Lake City. |
