The board announced in the notices that persons who ara entitled to consideration con-sideration In regard to return of taxes, should make application on one of the announced days. Applications Bent by mail will also recolve consideration, I where valuation notices are Included. In regard to the meeting of tho board Walter N. Farr, county clerk said yesterday; "In years past there has been a mistaken impression that because a remittance had been allowed on a previous pre-vious year's taxes that It would nnt hn necessary to make application to the .board, the following year. In all cases, however, application for a remittance on this year's taxes must be mado on one of the above days: also It is hoped that cvory person, who through sickness,, sick-ness,, accident or other misfortune, is entitled to this relief, will apply for it." , nn |
