Yop. and unless the dope sheet falls, these selfsame stars of the championship cham-pionship aggregation of that season will again be on deck. They are Alma Richards of tho Ogden A. A. and J. E. ("Ted") Meredith of tho Meacow-brook Meacow-brook A. C. of Pennsylvania. In tho games of 1012 Richards entered en-tered his first real competition. After making the team at tho finals at Chicago Chi-cago he was not looked on as a serious contender for honors In tho aerial event, as he had a world-beator to defeat de-feat in Georgo Horlnc. And Horino at that timo held the world record at 6 feet 6 inches. To defeat such a man wa3 tho chief ambition of Richards, and when the aerial event was finally decided Richards was the hero with a leap of 6 feet 4 Inches. E. Lelsche of Germany was second and Horlne, the world record holder, was third. From that day until the prcsont day tho namo "Richards" has been on the tongue of thousands in America. In 1915 at San Francisco he displayed his real class when he won the high Jump, tho shot put" and to top off his year won the all-around American title. Ted Meredith, "speed" merchant, former University of Pennsylvania star, copped tho 800-meter run in record timo in 1912 at Stockholm, "Ted" won his event hands down from a fast field in 1:51:9. Ho was also a member of the victorious 1,600-meter relay team. Meredith has been a "has been" for two or three years, but despite that fact expects to stage a comeback.
