Sawyer and moincr have arrived in Ogden' after a delightful de-lightful trip in the eastern states andj in Canada. " i Seniors of the Weber normal college entertained last Monday evening inj tho auditorium of the college, when! they presented the play, "Christopher, Junior." The auditorium was crowded crowd-ed with interested folks and for tho next two hours they were well entertained enter-tained by the seniors. The play was presented in four acts and is woven about the misfortunes of Christopher, Jr., who has been forced to marry much against his will, but Christopher, Sr., only adds to the complication of matters by proposing that his son marry tho girl that he had selected for him. Those who took part in the play -were Leslie Foutz, Louise Browning, Brown-ing, Stanley Rhees, Ora Jacobs. Mr. and Mrs. G. M. Stoddard announce an-nounce the engagement of their daughter, Laura E. Stoddard, to Gordon Gor-don Cherrlll of Rochester, Nevada, Mr. Cherrlll is a mining man and has interests in tho Lincoln Hill mine. The wedding will take place in June. Mr. and Mrs. Mollerup will make their home in Ogden aftor their return from their honeymoon, which theyare spending in Salt Lake. The. entire class hiked to Malan's Heights, and although they wero very tired on their return, the day was one of the most enjoyable of the year. . Opportunity for the Scotch people and their friends In Ogdon to be entertained en-tertained by the Heather Bell club will be given on Wednesday, June 16, at the Lagoon. Committees have been appointed and are perfecting arrangements arrange-ments for an elaborate program of song, dancing and sports. One of tho features of the day will be a bagpipe band, it is expected. Scottish day at Lagoon is always one of the big excursion ex-cursion events of the season, and the ladies as hostesses for the afternoon nre expecting to surpass all others in their entertainments. Rich, left Tuesday for the east. She will attend the commencement com-mencement exercises of the National Park seminary, to be held at Washlng- 1 ton, D. C . and also attend tho convention con-vention of young women who served over seas during tho war. The convention con-vention is to be hold at Dcs Moines, Iowa, and will in all probability bo attended by two girls from each state of the Union who vero fortunate enough to servo overseas. Mlos Frances McCormick, who is holding a position at the Salt Lako Holy Cross hospital, was an Ogden guest Sunday at tho Sacred Heart academy. Miss McCormick returned to Salt Lake Sunday ovening.
