Show American Financiers Are Feted in Tokio TOKIO, April 27. Three public dinners, which were largoly attended, were 'given yesterday by leading Japanese Jap-anese and Americans In honor of tho American financiers, headed by Frank A. Vanderlip, and members of the -American silk mission who are I visiting Japan. At a banquet held at the Bankers' club, Viscount Kaneko, former special spe-cial representative of Japan In the United States. In his address recalled the words of the late Theodore Roosevelt Roose-velt to the effect that peace in the Pacific rests upon the mutuality of respect between America and Japan. |
