Show City Parks Jake on Spring-like Aspect With a small plum tree in full bloom, the city hall park took on a real springlike spring-like aspect this morning and the scene was given splendid support by the appearance ap-pearance of several gardeners who began be-gan trimming the turf about the flower flow-er beds and in giving the shrubbery tho annual pruning. Green buds aro also breaking from the trees and nature's na-ture's carpets, the lawn, is in excellent condition. Gardeners also began work in Liberty, Lib-erty, Lester and Lorin Farr parks this morning, according to Chris Flygaro, superintendent of city streets and parks. Mr. Flygaro said that no new shrubbery or trees will be planted in parks this year, but that the entire efforts ef-forts of the men will be turned toward beautifying and maintaining the flowers, flow-ers, trees and shrubbery already installed. in-stalled.
