Show SEEK RELEASE OF GIRL FROM CUSTODY POCATELLO. Ida.. May 3. To attend at-tend the habeas corpus hearing at St. Anthony In tho case before Judge Gwinn, Sheriff George E. Mabey, County Attorney I. E. McDougall, and Probate Judge William A. Hyde, left yesterday. Mrs. L. Meachern, through her attorney, attor-ney, John Peters, Becks to secure the release of her daughter, Venoll Meach-em, Meach-em, who-was sent to the state refoim school about ten days ago. This girl and her sister were arrested in a hoarding house here. A statutory charge was filed against John1 Johnson, John-son, but he sought to escape the charge by marrying the girl and an at-j at-j tempt to have a marriage performed was made after obtaining the consent of the mother. It is stated by Judge Hyde that Miss Meachem does not wish to marry Johnson, John-son, and he refused to permit the ceremony cere-mony to proceed, asserting that she was sfill under the jurisdiction of the probate court.
