Show LANDSCAPE EXPERT ON TOUR OF STATE LOG AX, May 3. 12 mil Hansen, head of the landscape gardening department de-partment of the Utah Agricultural college, has loft the city on a trip to a number of Utah towns, where he will lay out and plun public places In accordance with the U. A. C. program for the beautifying of Utah. Already this spring Mr. Hunsen has planted the Preston' park and school grounde, the grounds for the Richmond Rich-mond tabernacle and tho Smithfield pea cannery. Upon this trip he will put in final form various parka, camping camp-ing grounds and public and private grounds at Brigham, Ogden, Morgan, Salt Lake, Provo, Springville, Payson, Parowan, Summit and Cedar City. At Cedar City, besides Ranting the new park and camping ground outlined by the city. Mr. Hansen will make extensive exten-sive improvements at the branch agricultural agri-cultural college. From Cedar City Mr. Hansen will R0 to St. George, where he will meet with a newly appointed ap-pointed civic improvement commlttue of the chamber of commerce to plan for tho beautifying of the town. - . rr |
