I ewis Of the Merchants of Ogden. The following men wr re appointed and will lake action al once looking to re-Uel re-Uel Angus T Wright, John Watson and James H. Douglar Thr- committee will make a survey of available rooming spr.ee In the city not now in use It Is stated that there are many buildings In the city with empty space thai should he utilized during the home shortage. This com-mittee com-mittee Will urge properly owners to open for public use an available space, such as the second floor of store buildings. An effort wil. also be made to settle the litigation over the Stephens Ste-phens apartments on Twenty-Seventh Street which was begun about three years ago and never finished. One of theso buildings Is said to be about SO per cent completed and the other 30 per cent There are a number of buildings in the city, it Is said, that could be utilized for rooms or apart- . ments. oo |
