Show oo Ogden May Get an Experiment Station If Bill Passes An experiment station will bo located lo-cated hero by the government to make tests to determine tho best methods of utilizing lignites, found ex tensively in the west, and to devise cheap method of extracting the oil from the shale deposits in the inter-mountain inter-mountain vves: Senator William H. King Is asking for an appropriation of a half million dollars for this purpose pur-pose in a bill which he n preparing to introduce, acording to word received re-ceived here. Ogden may be selected for this branch bureau of mines, it is said, because be-cause of its location, which connects every important lignite or oil shale bed in Utah, Wyoming, Colorado and Nevada as well as various deposits in Idaho.
