Show ACADEMY PUPILS HOLD GRADUATION SERVICE SALT LAKE, June 12. Friends and relatives of the graduates filled the auditorium au-ditorium of St. Mary's academy to capacity ca-pacity last evening to witness the commencement exercises. The valedictory vale-dictory was delivered by Miss Rhoda Bruueau. Just preceding the valedictory. Miss Knna Kuster. one of the graduates, announced an-nounced that the school had unanl mousely voted to present $1300 in Victory Vic-tory loan bonds which the pupils had subscribed for to Bishop Joseph S Glass, to be added to a fund for the education of a priest for this diocese The academy students started the fund c'uriug a previous Liberty loan drive by the presentation to the bishop of an initial sum of $500 in bonds. The presentation was made by Miss Marguerite Mar-guerite Shea, president of the graduat- i ing class, assisted by Miss Kuster. |
