Show I WORLD'S RECORD I BROKEN BY THUG Bottles Sold In Four Years Would Reach From New York to Denver, Colo. Four vears ago very few people hd ever heard Of Tanlac. Today It un- I questionably has the largest sale of any medicine in the world, and ifl it we'll known in Canada as in this country. coun-try. In the brief period of only four v ears' time this now famous remedy has leaped from obscurity to the very pinacle of success. Ita fame In fa t. has long since passed beyond the limit lim-it of the continent, and numerous inquiries in-quiries regarding it arc now being re eeived from many foreign countrb s Very few people, however, fully realize what a really wonderful record Tanlac has made Indeed, if it were not for the unquestionable facts and figures given out by the largest and best known drug firms of the country ihe story of its success would be hard to believe. IL'p to Januarv first, the total sale-, of Tanlac amounted tn approximate iwolve million bottles The demand however, is increasing, for dunns: the first ten weeks of this year over one million bottles were sold and distributed distrib-uted tn the United States and Cahada, the exact figure being 1,3J)6.1$G in three months. At this rate, therefore, ihe sales for the present year will amount to more than me million bottles This will mean that 17.000 bottles of Tanlac will be sold during every day of the year, or 2100 bottles for every hour of the average working day. These figures are too stupendous for the average mind to grasp, but one may visualize what twelve million bottles bot-tles mean by imagining them laid out in a single file end to end Thus laid they would make a track of Tanl.v from New York through ( hicago. and on to Denver, Colo., or they would form a double track of Tanlac from the Great Lakes to the Gulf of Mexico Piled end to end they would tower 135 times as high as Pike's Peak, or rise 13,333 times higher than the Wool- I worth building in New York, the Ull est building in the world. The demand for Tanlac has become no great that its sale instead of beino measured by the gross as other preparations prep-arations have been, is now reckoned by the carload, and even by the train load. In proof of this it is a notewur thy fact that the leading druggist jobbers job-bers everywhere now buy Tanla il-!! il-!! most exclusively in car load lots. To supply the Pacific coast trade alone re quires from forty to fifty car loads a year jobbers of the middle west selling from seventy to eisht oars i year. The well known drug firm of Hesslg Ellis Drug compan of Memphis, Tenn., has sold o t r forty car load since the introduction of Tanlac in that state four vears ago. Within the past ninety d;is, ten car loads of Tanlac have gone to supply sup-ply the demand of Dntish Columbia, Saskatchewan, Alberta and Manitoba Canada. I ! rn |
