Show 11 HUE DIES AT RESIDENCE IN SALT LAKE Hynim Plngree. cashier of the National Na-tional City bank, of Salt Lake, died at his residence, 763 Third avenue, 'at 10 o'clock last night of influenza, after an illness of a week. Mr. Pingree was forced to quit his duties on Friday of last week, going home and taking to bed. His condition yesterday was such that his life was despaired of. Hyruni Pingree was born in Ogden forty years ago, the son of Job and Esther Pingree. pioneers in Ogden. He was educated in the public schools of the city and completed his education at the Weber academy. Prior to the organization of the National Na-tional City bank at Salt Lake'. Mr. Pingree Pin-gree was the manager of the Ogden Furniture & Carpet company of Ogden. Og-den. He was also a director of Pingree Brothers of Ogden, which later moved to Salt Lake. For four years and up to tho time he moved to Salt Lake, Mr. Pingree was a member of the Ogden board of education. During the time he was a member of that board he did I much in establishing the more mod- cm methods which are now employed j in the school system. Mr. Pingree was closely identified with his brother, James Pingree, president pres-ident of the Pingree National bank of Ogden. thc National City bank of Salt Lake and banks in five other towns of the state, as well as in the sugar business in California: Mr. Pingree was a director in the Layton Sugar company and president of the Idaho Falls National bank at Idaho Falls, Idaho. He is survived by his widow, four Bons and two daughters, his father and the following brothers and sisters: James Pingree of Ogden, Frank Pingree Pin-gree of Coalvilje, Mrs. Heber Scow-croft Scow-croft and Mrs. Lawrence Taylor of Ogden, John Pingree, Job Pingree, Jr., and Joseph Pingree. The surviving children are Hymns W. Pingree. Lawrence W. Pingree. James H. Pingree. Hazel Pingree, Kenneth Pingree and Beth Pingree. The body will lie In state at the homo in Salt Lake from 11:30 a. m. to 2 p. m. tomorrow and then be brought to Ogden to the LIndquist parlors, par-lors, where the casket will be open from 10 a. m. to 1 p. m. when the funeral fu-neral cortege will proceed to tho city cemetery oo |
