Dln-noen Dln-noen of Oguen wa3 honored today by the state council, Knights of Columbus, Colum-bus, when ho wan elected to tho offico of state deputy. Other officers choson at tho council aro as follows: H. F. Cahlll of Ogden, secretary; D. C. Sullivan Sul-livan of Salt Lake, treasurer; J. H Donnelly of EurckaP advocate; L. M Muirbrook of Park City, warden; tho Rov. P. M. Cushnahan of Ogden, chaplain; chap-lain; Dr. John J. Galllgan of Salt Lake, past stato doputy. The delegates and officers to tho number of fourteen mot In Social hall at 11:30 o'olock this forenoon and in addition to tho election of officers, transacted othor important business. A resolution adopted by a unanimous voto was orderod send to tho president, presi-dent, as follows: "Tho Utah stato council, Knights of Columbus, reaffirms to tho president of tho United States tho loyalty and fealty of its members In Utah In his action in the present crisis and pledges pledg-es to him full co-operation in all ho may see fit to ask of good citizens in carrying the war to a successful conclusion." A resolution was adopted Indorsing the movement for a tuberculosis sanitarium, sani-tarium, under tho control of tho national na-tional council. The stnto council was given authority author-ity to fix tho time and placo for tho next annual outing. In the election of delcgatos to tho supremo council tho cholco foil upon Dr. J. P. Dinneen and Dr. J. J. Galll gan, with J. M. Lanigan and J. T. McLaughlin Mc-Laughlin as alternates. At tho conclusion of tho session adjournment ad-journment was taken to tho Now Park hotel, whero tho visitors were tho guests of tho local council members at a banquet.
