Show REAL ESTATE DEAL IS CDWIPLETED By PRQUDFIT With the object in view of erecting a modern four-story business block on I the ground purchased, Robert L. ' Proudflt, president and manager of the Proudflt Sporting Goods company, yos-1 terday completed a deal -with tho Bin-ford Bin-ford Real Estate company for the purchase pur-chase of a piece of property on Twon-ty-flfth street, between liudson and Grant avenuos. Tho transaction was concluded with tho filing of deeds in the county clerk's office, tho monetary mone-tary consideration involved being ?16,-000. ?16,-000. Speaking of his reasons for making tho deal, last night, Mr. Proudflt said ho had faith in the country's prosperity prosper-ity and that tho present war conditions condi-tions should not cause people to discontinue dis-continue their business progress. The Proudflt Sporting Goods company com-pany was established in Ogden sixteen years ago, with a small stock of goods and a small nmount of capital. It is now ono of tho largest and most progressive pro-gressive in tho state, having a valu-1 able stock of sporting goods and Edison Edi-son phonographs and covering not only local territory, but tho states of Utah, Idaho, Wyoming and parts of Nevada. The new building, Mr. Proudflt states, will bo built, it Is expected, this summer, sum-mer, and tho company will occupy it as soon as tho lease on Its present quarters expires. I |
