Show - I H B'eailis and Funerals : i 1 FA RN LUND The funeral of Dan- j H iel Farnlund was held yesterday after- H noon in the Third ward chapel, with ' H Bishop Myron B. Richardson presid- j H ! ing. Friends and relatives of the dec- H edent filled tho chanel to Its capacity H and many floral tributes were in evi- ' H dence, bearing further testimony of f H i the respect and love in which the dead i H J musician had been held In the com- I H munity. The members, of the Ogden H Musicians' union attended in a body H and the Ogden Municipal band head- H ed the funeral cortege that followed H the body to the cemetery. Special mu- H sic was furnished at tho services, as H follows Solos, "Rock of Ages" and H "The Plains of Peace," Robert Green- H Ham Howell. The speakers were I M Bishop James R. Beus of Hooper and M President James Wotherspoon of the f M North Weber stake. Interment was i M in the city cemetery and tho band ' jH played a selection as the body was be- M ing lowered Into the grave, which was H dedicated by Bishop Richardson. The H pallbearers were Thomas G., Joseph H H., John A., and John Lowe, Wllland I H Hull and J. E. Allen. The funeral was H in charge of Undertaker C. J. Lind- ' H quisL H SCOTT Mrs. Katherino Scott died ' at 9 a. m. today at the home of her H daughter, Mrs. PL L. Bell, 612 Twenty- H fourth street, after a lingering illness. M Mrs. Scott was born October 31, 1831, H and is survived by her daughter, Mrs. I M Bell, wife of Superintendent Harry H Bell, and one son, Lorln A. Scott. Fu- i M neral services later. H |
