IP1TKS BILL BY GIRL SROI OPENS T0M0RR01 The biggest girl show of the season Is on tapis at tho Orpheum theatre j this week, opening tomorrow, headed by "The Birth of tho Rose," a spectacular spec-tacular classic dancing pantomime, i featuring Rao Snell and Gladys Har-' rlson. Tho act calls for unusually elaborate scenic effects, and the costumes cos-tumes of the graceful dancers are highly artistic, with a dash of daring i beauty. Tho act is one of the big feature fea-ture productions of tho year, and Is scoring a tremendous hit with Salt Lako vaudeville enthusiasts at the Pantages this woek. One of the most sensational acts of the season is "Motor Madness," an aerial surprise, featuring four expert performers on the trapeze, two of them riding on motorcycles upon a slender suspended circular track and the other two hanging beneath the cycles and performing daring feats, that produce all sorts of thrills. The two motorcyclists motor-cyclists whirl about on the eight-inch track at amazing speed, with the result re-sult that tho aerial performers, suspended sus-pended below, aro carried far out by tho centrifugal force. William Graw and Gwendolyn Pai-tcs, Pai-tcs, assisted by a clever comedian, present pre-sent the delightful comedietta, "Solitaire." "Soli-taire." It is an act that is full of sprightly humor, bright dialogue and unique situations. Mile. Amoros and Ben Mulvey offer a pleasing cluster of gems in "At Maxim's." Max-im's." Friend and Downing, comedians extraordinary, ex-traordinary, are scoring an exception hit in their sparkling patter sketch.
