Show INTO IS STRUCK in mm. Salt Lake, Aug 4. Mrs. C A. Brun-son Brun-son of Fillmore was seriously Injured yesterdav afternoon when the automobile automo-bile In which she and five othors were riding was struck by a northbound passenger train on the Salt Lake & Ogden interurban about 3:45 o'clock at Cleverly crossing, between St. Joseph and Bountiful. The automobile was wrecked, but the other passengers escaped with bruises and minor injuries. in-juries. Mrs. Brunson was injured internally in-ternally and suffered several severe bruises. She was brought to Salt Lake and taken to a local hospital. The other occupants of the automobile wero Harvey Brunson, Ardella and Beatrice Brunson, Mabel Smith and a Mrs. Morrison of Cleverly. According to reports made by members mem-bers of the train crow, the automobile automo-bile was traveling northward, tho same direction as the train, and turned up on the crossing Immediately ahead of the train. Upon sight of the train the driver attempted to back off tho crossing and killed the engine. The train waB too close to the grossing to stop in timo to prevent the accident. nn |
